Andrea Thorpe

I LOVE teaching! I am a licensed teacher with thirty years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Arts degree in Student Personnel Services. My teaching experience spans all grade levels, from kindergarten to twelve. Currently, I work as a high school English teacher and guidance counselor. As an educator, I am dedicated to staying abreast of the latest educational trends and advancements. This continuous research and reading ensure that my teaching approach remains current, effective, and tailored to the unique needs of students.  Beyond the classroom, I am an avid reader and the author of two children’s biographies: The Story of Jackie Robinson and The Story of Katherine Johnson.
